This clip is used for the side release knob to get theback rest move forward without it the knob will fall off.  this clip goes inside the seat knob and you push it on the release side rod to hold the  knob in place.  You need this part to make any seat work. Fits all Bug’s,Ghia’s, and Typ 3’s. round knob or square knob they all take the same clip inside. Sold as individual pieces.
